Volunteer
We welcome volunteers of all ages. Please contact us and we'll be in touch.
If you are over 18 years old, you will also need to complete a RYA DBS check with us.
ESSA Crew
Spend your weekends and summer evenings out on the water helping young people learn their chosen water activity. We can train you to gain all the qualifications you need - you just need to be keen and up for some fun!
Instructors - Sailing, Kayaking, Powerboat
Qualified? Put your skills to good use and help to train new people to get qualified too.
Gardener
We have various flower beds, pots, trees and approximately an acre of grass that all need some love and attention. The grass is cut every 2-3 weeks during the summer months and we have a ride-on mower.
Handypeople
Having lots of people use the centre, there is always something to fix. You could work on new or existing projects which include woodwork, metalwork, electrics, plumbing, painting, boat repairs, building repairs, groundwork and more.
Fundraising Team
We're looking for volunteers to fill in small grant applications to gain funding for new equipment, instructor training and more. The more volunteers, the merrier (and better off) we'll be.
Events Co-ordinator
A volunteer or two to lead our Open Day and other annual events.
Committee Members
Get involved with running our charity - our Volunteer Committee meet every other month. Many hands make light work.
