How to find us
SatNav
The post code you need is EN9 2PB which is not our base, but very near to the top of our lake.
Some GPS systems may take you through Nazeing Glass Works and along the River Lee towpath. This does not lead to the front entrance of ESSA and the track is unsuitable for many vehicles, so make sure you come in from Meadgate Road.
Directions
At M25 junction 25, take the A10 North. Take the exit after you have passed Tesco and M&S, signposted A1170 to Broxbourne.
Follow A1170 north, through Wormley & Broxbourne. After about 1.5miles, turn right at traffic lights, sign posted B194 to Nazeing. Pass Broxbourne Station on your left. Continue for 1.5 miles past Broxbourne Riverside.
Just past the parade of shops on your left, at the traffic lights, turn left into North Street. Follow this road through the bends for about 3/4 mile, until you see "Lignacite Works" and turn left into Meadgate Road.
Once on Meadgate Road, keep going past the lake and boats on your right. You will see another lake on the left which is Central Lagoon where we operate. Immediately past the lake, turn left and follow the track around the lake to the end where you will find our centre.
