You've decided that windsurfing is for you. Work your way through the Youth or Adult courses.
Windsurfing is a surface water sport that combines elements of surfing and sailing.
It consists of a board usually two to four metres long and a sail.
A fun and exciting water sport for those of you who like a challenge!

Over XX years old -
Evening, half day, full day or 2 day courses.
All courses are 2 days (or equivalent sessions). Youth courses start at age 9+. Adult courses start at age 16+.
To make the most of our courses, ensure you are confident with the skills of one course before moving on to the next course. If you're a bit rusty, you may be asked to return for an extra day of training before being fully signed off.
Windsurfing is a sport which gets better with practice, and you should try to get out on the water between courses whenever you can. Practice makes perfect!
Youth Stage 1
An ideal introduction, teaching you the basics of getting on the water and sailing the board across the wind and back.
Youth Stage 2
Practical skills to get you sailing around a course practising tacking and gybing, enabling you to make progression towards and away from the wind.
Youth Stage 3
Set up your board and rig correctly, enhance your stance on all points of sailing and introduce basic harness techniques in stronger winds.
Youth Stage 4
Blasting around and getting in the footstraps, becoming confident to tack and gybe and sail in your harness, with an introduction to basic footstrap technique.
Adult Start Windsurfing
A course for complete beginners, teaching you the basics of windsurfing using the right equipment.
Introducing you to the Fastfwd coaching technique, helping you fine tune basic skills and make your windsurfing faster and more fluid.
Additional clinics help you master dynamic transitions, advanced planing techniques, the waterstart and infamous planing gybe.
